fertilization of flowers - Technostorks: A

Technostorks: A Documentary on Infertility and In Vitro Fertilization (IVF)

Technostorks: A Documentary on Infertility and In Vitro Fertilization (IVF)

Technostorks documents the true life stories of three couples - Joann and Sean, Nora and Eric, and Wendy and Rodney - as they go through infertility and in-vitro fertilization. It is the first IVF cycle for Sean and Joann, the second for Wendy and Rodney, and the fourth, and most likely the last, cycle for Nora and Eric. Technostorks documents the couples' most private moments, showing images never before seen on the screen. We follow couples into the operating room to witness egg retrievals and embryo transfers, hear their views on living with infertility, spirituality, and parenthood, and learn with them the outcomes of their IVF cycles. Throughout the film, top experts explain the technological, psychological, and spiritual aspects of assisted reproduction. In the end, not all of our couples will achieve pregnancy, but they will all undergo a personal transformation.

Flower Felony

Flower Felony

Caught in the act! This giant, chubby carpenter bee is a nectar thief! It was perforating the crane flower to get at the nectar, without providing pollination. Its vibrating thorax made a loud buzzing sound. Perhaps you can make out the faint blur of its rapidly moving wings. I wish I could have captured them.

This 'felonius behavior' was reported by Charles Darwin in the late1800s.

"Therefore all plants must suffer in some degree when bees obtain their nectar in a felonious manner by biting holes through the corolla."
Darwin, C. R. (1876). The effects of cross and self fertilisation in the vegetable kingdom. London: John Murray.

Bee and flower. Pollination is the process by which pollen is transferred in plants, thereby enabling fertilization and sexual reproduction. Pollen grains, which contain the male gametes (sperm) to where the female gamete(s) are contained within the carpel;in gymnosperms the pollen is directly applied to the ovule itself. The receptive part of the carpel is called a stigma in the flowers of angiosperms. The receptive part of the gymnosperm ovule is called the micropyle. Picture with focus on foreground. Fertilization Combo - Conception Support, His & Hers Bottles., (Maximum)

Fertilizer - Hers helps improve fertility by regulating the menstrual cycle and correcting hormone imbalance (corpus lustrum insufficiency) without the incidence of multiple births associated with drug therapy. Fertilizer - His is an herbal formula that contains a wide variety of antioxidants for improving overall reproductive health designed to increase sperm mobility, sperm count, and linearity. Fertilization Combo premium combination of amino acids, herbs, vitamins and minerals improves overall reproductive health and helps treat many of the deficiencies known to decrease fertility. Vitex agnus-castus (chasteberry herb) enhances hormone and ovulation frequency. The antioxidants green tea, vitamin E, and selenium improve overall reproductive health. Vitamins B6, and B12, folic acid, iron, magnesium, and zinc address specific deficiencies that are known to impact female fertility. L-arginine is an amino acid that stimulates the reproductive organs by improving circulation. Fertilizer - Hers is not a drug. It is a daily nutritional supplement. While it is not intended for the treatment of any disease, it may be used as a soft approach to optimize fertility in a natural manner, as an option prior to, or instead of, hard options such as in vitro fertilization or fertility drugs. Nutritional supplements take a more gradual, gentle, natural approach compared to drugs. The focus with supplements is the optimization of health and wellness, rather than the treatment of disease. D rugs are used for the treatment of specific conditions, often by altering biological pathways, sometimes in a very powerful or unnatural manner, and often with undesirable side effects. In the case of fertility drugs, multiple births are a common, undesirable side effect.
